I'm Louise Harris from Burlington, ON and currently serving as the Secretary for Tiny Paws. I joined Tiny Paws as a volunteer/foster after meeting and talking to one of the members at a local pet store. Jumping in with both feet was the only way to go. I've had 5 fosters in the past year and been very fortunate that my family members are always pleased to meet the new "Harris Hounds". And my dogs have been very accepting of these needy little souls that pass through our home - some for a few weeks, others for a few months. They all get the love they need and deserve while we search out a "forever family". My dogs are all seniors now. Cosmo is a 12 1/2 year old Lhasa Poo, Bailey is also a Lhasa Poo aged 12, Roxy is an 11 year old Peke/Shih Tzu cross and Casey is a 12 year old long-haired dachshund.
It's great to be part of Tiny Paws with the support that's so readily available for the fosters from all the other members. I've learned a lot since being involved in rescue and look forward to continuing active involvement.
