Owner Surrenders and Shelters

Tiny Paws Dog Rescue does take dogs from owners who can no longer keep them whatever the reason. We cannot pay for dogs but are willing to foster and re-home dogs who are freely surrendered to us. We do have an owner surrender form which allows us to learn more about your dog and states that you have released your animal into our care to adopt to a new home. We do not require a donation at the time of the surrender but if we will need to provide vetting (ie. spay/neuter, vaccinations, treatment of an infection, treatment of pre-exisiting medical condition) we are very pleased to receive a financial donation. We do issue tax receipts for these donations.

Please note that we cannot take dogs over 20 lbs so if you are unsure of your dog's weight, please check before contacting us.

We also cannot accept knowingly aggressive dogs or dogs that have bitten, regardless of the situation due to liability factors. If your dog exhibits aggression or bites while in our care we will contact you to discuss the situation.

The determining factor regarding whether we can take your dog will be if we have any available fosters.
