Scrappy

I know, I know ….. I’m cute but it’s a curse I’ve learned to live with. My name is Scrappy, I am 16 months old and weigh 18.5 lbs.   I am happy, cuddly (I know I was born a lap dog), love to give kisses almost as much as I love to go for walks, run and play. I love being outside so much that, if given the opportunity, I will run out the door so that you can play ‘catch me if you can’ with me (it’s fun … you’ll see!!) I sit when told to and will shake a paw when asked. I am very friendly but also can be a little shy (and vocal) with strangers although I do respond when told ‘enough’. I will meet you at the door and greet you like it’s the first time we’ve ever met whether you have been at work all day or just took the garbage out. Living at my foster home has been a learning experience because I was not fully housetrained when I got here … but that has changed.  I love going outside and having fun in the snow (my foster mom laughs at me when I come in and says I look like the Grinch Who Stole Christmas dog …. whoever that is!!).  I have had all my vaccines and been neutered.  As much fun as I am having at my foster home, I am dreaming of having my own family to love and be loved …. forever.
