Debi - Adoption pending, please do not apply
Hi my name is Debi, I am not really sure of my age, maybe between 8-10 years young and weigh about 21 lbs. I am a Shih-tzu and I am looking for a forever home. I have had quite a hard time in my past life, living in place that was very very dirty, and I was only happy to be around my other siblings and friends that lived there too, we always had each other to rely on. We never went to a vet, so, we were in rough shape when Tiny Paws took us in. We had to have neuters and spays and fix all the infections that we were so full of from not being fixed up when we were young. Eyes and ears were infected and our friends at Brimley Lawrence Animal Clinic had to shave us right down to the skin in order to clean us up and fix everything.
Since I had a rough start, I do have some behaviour and trust issues which I am working on with my foster family. I love going for walks and car rides. I would do best in a house with another dog as a pal. Currently I am living with another dog, cats and birds and I am okay with everyone.
Once I have started to trust you, I love being patted and having my belly rubbed. I love to give kisses and meet you at the door with my tail going like crazy as I am so excited your home from work. I would prefer a home that does not have too many stairs as I have trouble getting down. I have a eye that has started with cataracts so my sight is wonky. I am about 99% house trained, it has been hard to learn all the rules that humans have, but I am happy to be healthy and loved, I just would really like my own family. I am spayed and up to date with all my vaccines and microchipped too.
Debi's Adoption Fee is $200.00.
